You won’t die, don’t listen to these people who have never tried it. It’s tough, but you’ll be fine. Good luck.

Fasting should only be done under the guidance of a medical professional. They could also answer this question for you.

You’ll be fine. You can go weeks without food. Everybody responds differently. Just take it easy and all will be good.

The colon cleansing is a waste of time, however.

    Who’d you "hear" it from?
    Incorrect.
Your body isn’t pleased with what you’re doing to it.

    Hear me?

Your body is saying to stop!

Weak & tired is normal for what you’re doing right now.
Do you have awful diarrhea or gas too?

Please stop the colon cleanse until you know what you’re doing, and if you’re under 18, don’t even consider it without talking to a doctor first.

You die, because we could only last about 3-4 days without food, and maximum 2-3 days without water. You better eat something fast!

The longest I have fasted was a week and was for religious purposes. I did keep my water intake high during the whole thing, but absolutely no food. Assuming that you are still consuming water, the third day you will start to balance out and feel normal. You are not going to feel energized and awake, but the hunger pains pretty much dissapear, and you dont really notice any other side effects of being weak and shaky. When you come off your fast make sure you re-introduce food to your body slowly, start with soup, then some fruit, and keep the rest of the day light. The second day off you should be able to go back to eating semi normal. Good luck and be careful.

You’re weak because your body needs energy from food to survive. You will continue to get weaker and weaker, and will develop more symptoms such as horrible headaches, trouble concentrating, and even more serious ones if you keep going.

Is this the "correct" side effect? Well, technically yes. This is what your body normally goes through when you’re slowly starving it to death.

You need electrolytes! That is why you are shaky and do not feel energized. Buy some Pedialyte in the drug store and drink it as much as you need. Also, if you want to do completely calorie-free, drink mineral water with high mineral content, and take supplements (vitamins, etc. ) that contain calcium, potassium, manganese, magnesium, etc. You need electrolytes to fire your muscles and other nerve activity. So depriving yourself from them will never make you energized and happy… And remember, fasting is not simple, it’s a science. Read more about it first. Make sure you come out of fasting very slowly. Don’t eat heavy food for a few days, start with juices and fruits, then add protein, and only then fats, starting with vegetable oils, then animal fats.
