my stomach is flatter because of fiber???

i have a huge tummy, people always think i am pregnant. i decided to go on a diet and drink colon cleanse a fiber supplement, i have been drinking it 2 times a day with low carb diet and high protein. i lost 10 pounds and my stomach is flatter because of this but i still have all that stretched skin. anyhow, can i drink lots of fiber forever with no health problem from it. because it seems to work miracles. what do you think?

Its probably not a good idea. Eventually you may start to rob your body of vitamins and nutrients that it needs. Regular fiber is good but not "lots of fiber forever". Its better to go for healthy rather than skinny.

Consult a nutritionist about it. I don’t know about this fiber but I do know that there is nothing which can give you fast and trouble free weight loss without side effects

Yes, consuming too much fiber will cause problems in the long run. Dietary fiber binds not only to fat, but also to nutrients that is why you want tofollow the DRI.

A Dietary fiber should not be confused with crude fiber, a nutritionally obsolete term that refers to the residue (primarily cellulose and lignin) remaining after food is treated with acid and alkali. Foods generally contain more dietary fiber than crude fiber, but no consistent quantitative relationship) exists between the two. Some tables of food composition and some food labels present fiber content in terms of crude fiber.

A colon cleanser cannot be used forever it would be unhealthy, but you can be on a high fibre diet, which would mean eating lots of whole grains and fruits and veggies.
Most people don’t get the recommended amount of fibre in their diet which is 23 grams and you need more than the recommended amount if you want to lose weight. If you aren’t getting enough or just want more try "Metamucil" or "Fibre-Sure". It is a fibre powder that you can get that is flavoured so you add it to water. Or the one I like is Fibre-Sure (find them in Walmart or Drugstore) and it is a tasteless powder and I mix it in Pasta Sauces, Soups anything I’m cooking really, or my coffee, milk etc.
This is a healthier way of weight loss and probably a bit cheaper!
    Hope this helped!
