I am starting the lemonade diet, (master cleanse) Just to rid the toxins in my body. Is it safe?
I just got off of a 10 day colon cleanser, about 4 days ago. I was wondering if there is a waiting period. I plan on the diet for 14 days. I just want to know if its safe to go on it after already have doing a colon cleanser, that did not work.
lol i love how no one ever answers my questions, just gives me different answers to things I dont care about. The question that I want answered is the one I asked. I dont need other opinions on other things… thanks.
No, and at no time is your body full of toxins.
A study of the living human anatomy reveals that the colon is at no time dirty or clogged.
Both the body and the colon are self cleansing detoxification is a myth. Anyone interested in detoxifying their body might think about paying a little more attention to their body and less attention to the people trying to get their money. The body already has nature’s most effective detoxification system. It’s called the liver. The liver changes the chemical structure of foreign compounds so they can be filtered out of the blood by the kidneys, which then excrete them in the urine.
Downside of the lemonade diet…
Liquid bowel movements are a messy side effect. Going 10 days without food, plus consuming only a minimal amount of nutrients (given the drink’s ingredients) can add unnecessary stress on the body and potentially put health at risk. Trying to stick to the estimated 650-calorie-a-day diet (compared to the normal recommended amount of 1,600 to 2,400 calories a day) can result in feeling constantly hungry. Once dieters resume their normal eating habits, the weight lost will likely be regained.
