Whats the best detox/colon cleansing product out there?
Thursday, November 12th, 2009As most of us know, detoxing is an amazing way of cleansing the body. I know theres soo many products out there that promise you these great results, but do they work? I’m currently researching bout detoxing systems and how the body benefits from it. I’d like to know whether you’ve tried a product & what your results were before & after using it. Did you have weight gain, over-sweating, body odor, bad skin, or hair loss? What would you say is the best product?
Was the product costly or was it a good bargain?
If you could provide a link to the site of a product, please do so.
"Detoxing" in terms of Alt Med quackery is a dangerous and pointless activity. It has NO health benefits and a number of serious risks. Don’t waste your time and money on it or risk your health.
my stomach is flatter because of fiber???
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009i have a huge tummy, people always think i am pregnant. i decided to go on a diet and drink colon cleanse a fiber supplement, i have been drinking it 2 times a day with low carb diet and high protein. i lost 10 pounds and my stomach is flatter because of this but i still have all that stretched skin. anyhow, can i drink lots of fiber forever with no health problem from it. because it seems to work miracles. what do you think?
Its probably not a good idea. Eventually you may start to rob your body of vitamins and nutrients that it needs. Regular fiber is good but not "lots of fiber forever". Its better to go for healthy rather than skinny.
Is there any home remedies to get rid of Human Parasites?
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009I just received a paper on unhealthy colons. That doctors finally discovered the real cause of 90% of all diseases. It is unhealthy colons. The Natural Medicine Association have come up with a cure and to get rid of the parasites that may and are living in our colons. The program they have is so costly at the start of $69.95.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there who knows a cheaper way to cleanse the human body of parasites?
The symptoms are…
Constipation or diarrhea, chronic yeast infections, chronic fungus on hand/toe nails or nails become brittle or lost their luster.
Getting sick or catching colds often, weight problems or rapid weight gain, acne, skin disorders,or skin dry or pal, mood swings or depression, premenstrual syndrome more intensified, low sex drive, lack of concentration, short term memory problems ,sleeping problems, being easily prone to diseases, frequent headaches, chronic urinary tract irritation/infections, arthritic bone pains, allergies, gas,ex….
Why don’t someone just put dewormer for humans on the market? They found it simple to for animals..why not humans?
There is a colon detoxification program called Colonix that I have been using for the past three months. It’s a three-part program, part of which focuses on the removal of intestinal parasites. That part of the program is called Paranil, and it consists of four capsules a day, followed by a large glass of water. It’s a proprietary herbal blend, containing things like garlic, black walnut hulls, and tons of other things.
Although the entire program costs $88.00 for a one month supply, the Paranil is sold seperately for $32.00 a bottle (and it’s even cheaper if you buy three at a time.)

There are lots of other herbal parasite programs out there; you might check GNC or health food/vitamin stores to compare prices. The reason I suggested Paranil is because I’ve taken it myself, and the website has literally hundreds of positive verifiable testimonials. It’s worth a look, anyway… as I said, I’ve been on the whole program for three months and I’m very impressed with it.
Can any nurse explain this to me? 10 points best answer.?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009I took 3200% more than the daily recommended value for vitamin C orange flavored chewables. And the effect was, so much of it was in my blood that it clouded my natural skin complection. 6 months later, using colon cleanses along with drinking tons of water, my complection is ((almost)) back to its natural color, but not quite.
Just today I purchased vitamin A and E and took it with niacin. And within 1 hour, 6 months of what I’ve been trying to accomplish was partially achieved. How come this happened?
Who told you the Vitamin C did that to you??? Vitamin C is water soluble. You can only absorb so much and you pee the rest out. However, you need to be VERY careful with the A’s and E’s and other fat soluble vitamins because these have toxic levels that can kill you or really mess you up! Stick with a healthy diet and a good multi vitamin. Quit playing chemistry!
How do I Deoxificate mt body? Like Fasting ?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009I read that is I detoxificate my my body acne will clear right up and others things can benifit as well. So do I do this?
Detoxification is a normal body process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins through the colon, liver, kidneys, lungs, lymph and skin. Fasting is the world’s most ancient and natural healing mechanism. Fasting triggers a truly wondrous cleansing process that reaches right down to each and every cell and tissue in the body.
Therapeutic Fasting and Detoxification – Internal Cleansing
Detoxing is great for the body. Ask your MD or Homeopathic doctor for an OK and get guidelines like what to do, for how long. If you have sugar problems you really need to consult your MD first as well as any other health issues you might have. Fasting is great, but for limited time. Health food stores have a nutritionist there usually who can assist in finding you a good formula to use. (You can call the store ahead of time and find out if they have a nutritionist and when he/she will be in the store)
do you think the doctor will be able to prescribe–10 points best answer!!!?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009me something to rid my body of the overdose I experience with vitamin c. Not the death overdose, but for 3 months straight I was taking 3200% of my daily value of vitamin c everyday at once and my skin became clouded.
I’ve been doing colon cleanses and drinking tons of water, and my skin is somewhat near its normal color, but not really.
Will the doctor be able to prescribe something something stronger to absord the extra vitamin c floating around in my blood?
PS-and im not making this up, my nurse told me that I had took too much and that is why my complection appears darker, Its all the overdose clouding my natural skin tone.
hey peeps. I stopped taking the vitamin c a longgg time ago. So now Im just drinking the water to cleanse my system, but it’s taking wayy tooo long.
do you know anything that will absorb the extra toxins from my blood?
there’s nothing to reverse vitamin c overdosage, the only thing you can do is to drink a lot of fluids. 1000mg vitamin C is the maximum you can take in a day.
My acne! :( Please help?
Sunday, September 27th, 2009A few years ago I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis and was hospitalised. Before that I had been on many drugs, anti inflamatories, anti depressants all sorts.
After going through virtually ALL of the OTC supplements and facial regimes, I decided to take a deeper look at my acne. I figured, since I had been on so many drugs, I may have a fungal overgrowth in my body. I had a ‘hair test’ done and the main stressor in my body, was indeed fungal in nature. Possibly candida. I went on a three month candida diet, excluding almost all sugar, the only sugar I ate were natural occuring sugars in vegetables like spinach, drank a hell of a lot of alkaline filtered water and took garlic and pau d’arco supplements.
Result?
NOTHING
I think thought, I may naturally just have an excessively oily face. So I started taking vilantae B5 from evolution X. I must admit, this did clear my acne a small amount. At the same time I was using Acne Free skin care routine. This combination did not rid me of acne, but it cleared it up about 40%.
I then decided I couldn’t afford this anymore. £30 per bottle of vilantae is far too expensive!
I thought, maybe due to my colon and digestive problems in the past, I may have a toxic colon, or my liver my be struggling to get rid of toxins, thus it is excreting them via my skin.
So I did a 5 day liver detox (very unpleasant) and then went on to do a three day apple cleanse, taking anti fungal enemas everyday (the same as acne free in 3 days routine). The result? I noticed ONE pimple dissapeared, the rest stayed and my face stayed the same.
I then decided to do a colon cleanse, and purchased (cautiously) the colon cleansing kit from blessed herbs. I did the whole cleanse, and although it did work, nothing has changed with my face! Infact, today my face has broken out even more sad.gif.
The colon cleanse involved a completely raw diet three days up to the cleanse, then five days of apple juice. I am now still eating a raw diet but my face looks terrible!
I have been on accutane and all the others…I dont want to go back on medication for it. The accutane messed my liver up.
I really don’t know what to do anymore, I am at my wits end. Someone please help sad.gif. I am so frustrated and lost so much self esteem.
Help!?
i have severe acne too… the best face wash supplies i have found are the Clean and Clear Advantage line… its a 3 step program.. a wash, lotion and spot treatment… there is other parts you can buy like a toner, an exfoliating scrub, a scar treatment and a few others i recommend starting out with the 3 piece kit using that for a few weeks and then adding in what you feel your skin might need…
when i started to use it my skin began to feel much better. it was softer and just looked better… within a week people were noticing that my face was clearing up
you can find the products at a walmart or any pharmacy
hope this helps
Is there a nurse or doctor out there who can help me?!?

Is there something the doctor could give me to clear out the remaining vitamin c toxins in my blood.
Is there a shot a doctor can administer that will reverse the vitamin toxicity in my blood? I don’t know what to do!
and please no answers regarding can’t take too much vitamin c, because it’ll pass thru your urine. My nurse already told me I overdosed on vitamin c and the colon cleanse was needed to get it out. thanks.
Could I go to the emergency and would they be able to do something to get the vitamin overdose out?
Basically no.
Your body has to finish excreting it, slowly returning your skin to it’s natural colour.
Nothing can speed it up.
Kepp on pushing the water though which will make it a bit quicker.
Aren’t Vit C tablets yum?
Im desperate….Can any doc out there help me or any specialist–10 pts best answer!?

Will the BLOOD CLEANSE help remove the remaining toxins out of my blood stream and replenish my natural skin tone?

Number one — you have succeeded at doing something that is almost impossible. You are indicating that you took between 32000 and 64000 mgs of vitamin C in a single dose –or at least a single day — that’s… impressive. Still, it is extremely unusual that it would not pass straight through, one way or another. I’ve never heard of a bona fide case where a person was poisoned by vitamin C — but I see it as possible, so…
Number two. Colon cleanse is mostly a racket. I’m truly amazed that an actual RN or Nurse Practitioner told you to do such a thing. Blood cleanse almost certainly must refer to chelation of some sort. Chelation works strictly with things like zinc and copper. You cannot chelate Ascorbic acid.
Number Three. Your skin should return to normal eventually, as I cannot imagine that much long term damage could result from a single overdose of something that is nearly totally non-toxic.
Number Four. I would recommend that you leave the practice where you were told to use colon cleanse and go to a regular medical practice and get help.
This is a personal recommendation, and does not constitute advice.
Kind thoughts,
Hermes
