i have tried everything i can to lose weight. im 15 years old and i dont want too do it the long way. Im 5′6"/ 5′7" and i probably way about 140-150 i carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs. I have tried everything i could think of without payinng for diet plans,diet pills. Im willing to go to my local pharmacy and buy colon cleansing pills? I excersize almost every day i just dont no wat too do.,. can anyone help me with a diet and excersize plan that will seriousl help me and help me fast.

Like you, I too am 15 years old, and I carry most of my weight on my hips and thighs. To lose weight, basically all ya gotta do is burn more calories than you take in. Let’s say you have a 1500-2000 calorie diet. Basically, just eat within that calorie amount, and make sure it’s based off of mostly good, nutrition filled foods, rather than junk food or carbs.

Next is exercise. For the longest time, I’ve wanted thin legs and a thin waist, but I really dislike exercise, because it takes up time and it makes me uncomfortable in my environment. However, I took up running this year, and let me tell you it does MIRACLES. Just try running ten minutes a day, and gradually build up to twenty, and so on. I’ve been running an hour every other day for a few weeks now, and I’ve noticed definition and slimming in my entire body.

If you aren’t a cardio/running person, I would recommend stretches and lunges, also jump rope and hula hooping. Stretches/lunges really work on toning your thighs and slimming them, but unlike endurance running, they add more muscle, instead of making them more lithe. Hula hooping tones the mid section, and jump roping is better for your legs than running is in less time, however requires more endurance.

Another thing that keeps me from losing weight: SNACKING!!

I know it’s tempting, especially if you have a box of cookies or chips in the kitchen, and it’s fine to indulge once in a while…but just be smart about portion sizes. ALWAYS try to stay within your calorie limit, and always try to exercise at least once a day, whether it be brisk walking an hour outside, jump roping for ten minutes, or yoga. What I do when I’m hungry and don’t wanna snack is simply either drink lots of water, or chew some gum. I try to eat once every four hours or so, eating only small portioned and protein/nutrition filled foods. Avoid extra carbs at all costs; they REALLY pile up…

It will not work even if you have the same pills. These "magical" weight loss pills only work to reduce your water weight temporarily. Your weight might be lower on the scale for a while, but you will have the same amount of body fat. Eat healthy, watch your calories and exercise in order to lose weight permanently. Doing things the "hard way" is worth it.

For the next few weeks I plan to follow an alkaline, anti-inflammatory, low G.I, vitamin rich diet. Please can you help me with a list of foods that fall into these categories and also with the main question. So far I have identified oily fish, lightly boiled vegtables, salad, linseed bread, mixed seeds. I have severe IBS. I have already tried colon cleansing, foot patches, silicon gel, vitamin supplements, drinking more water, increased fibre (which made it worse), bowel tablets from the doctor, giving up alcohol and fizzy drinks. Nothing has worked. I don’t know what to do anymore and I’ve had this issue for years. Of course the more I stress about it the worse it gets.Please tell me what worked for you. Thank you.

you will find a lot of veg, boiled to mush or lightly boiled makes NO difference, will be very gas forming… cabbage etc is KNOW for bloating.

heyy:D okay, imma 13 years old, and in 20 weeks, im going on holiday to florida. I have a HUGE belly. It looks like im preg :/ I wanna wear a bikini for once in my life. I go to school, and have badminton for 50 mins every monday, 45 mins of kickboxing every wednesday & friday, and double P.E [aerobits.. netball etc] every friday. I need a detailed exersize plan. Im on the weightwatchers diet atm, I know some people will say ‘just eat healthy and exersize’ but I really need details. 24 pounds in 20 weeks and I have to achieve it. Please give me exersize details and asmuch other info as possible to lose weight. First of all you have to be willing to give up all junk and you have to set a time aside for 1 hour of exercise daily. One day do cardio suck as kickboxing and the other day do some strength training, muscle burns calories so it will help you!. Do abs AT LEAST 5 times a week, this will tone the muscles in your stomach and you do ab work before cardio. Ok if you can do this eat 6 times a day but eat small portions. Eat a high fiber diet, food high in fiber tend to fill you up more and are less calorie dense. I eat 1/2 cup of fiber one cereal in the morning (so much fiber) with soy milk. Eat at least 1000 calories a day and no more than 1200. Drink at least 8 glasses of water because you might have a lot of water weight and the more water you drink the more water weight you will lose. Take one day of rest from exercise. Avoid white foods and opt for the brown. Eat enough whole wheat and whole grain and decrease the "bad fats" in your diet for ex. Saturated fats and Trans Fats. Trans fats will not be on the label if it contains less then .5 grams of it so look at the ingredients for terms like "partially hydrogenated _(Blank)___ oil" I became vegetarian and lost a lot of weight too because meat is full of saturated fat. Consume (in moderation) good fats like unsaturated fats, mono/poly unsaturated fats. It is a misconception that all fat makes you fat.

Body is not breaking down any foods, what to do?

I am a 30 yr old female.

Within the last 1.5yrs my body has gone haywire. I have no insurance or doctor so I need to help myself.

This is gross but I find that my vaginal health has been affected most. I went to planned parenthood for tests and the nurse said everything was negative and I have no infections. Yet when I pee the smell is so bad, like ammonia and also my vagina is always, always so moist all the time. I never had that before, just normal discharge, but now it just stays moist and wet so much that it turns rank fast. It’s unbearable.

Also, everything I eat turns into bad gas, but not normal gas, its gas with a strong smell, just like the food I ate. So if I eat chicken, it smells like that, If I eat a cookie it smells like that.

I’m convinced because of my age changing to 30, my depression and my slight change in diet to heavy protein that my body went crazy.

I tried probiotics but I don’t think they were strong enough or the right ones. I also tried a colon cleanse to clean out my body.
Maybe my small intestines and liver isn’t working?

What should I do. Please help.

Before you go haywire spending $$$ on vitamins, enzymes and herbals, let’s take a deep breath and look at your symptoms. Rushing to the health food store can actually make things worse unless you are CERTAIN what you’re dealing with. We know that the problem is not a gynecological one, because you’ve already had cultures done. You don’t complain of burning or itching, so we’re not looking at vaginitis. How are your stools? Do you have at least one daily? Are they firm? Or do you suffer from diarrhea & constipation? Do you have any abdominal pain beneathe the rib cage? If you have been exercising or dieting a great deal lately, your body can often emit an ammonia odor.

Are you on any medications? (you cited depression). Certain medications (including psychiatric drugs and acetaminophen) can cause liver and kidney problems. I am not a physician, but I do know that dieters and people who exercise heavily (myself included) often smell ammonia on their skin (which is from amino acids). I was able to resolve this by staying very hydrated and eating an apple or pear after workouts.

If I were you, I would also stop exercising, and research any meds you are taking to see about side effects. You’ve been living with this for 1.5 years, so make some lifestyle changes and see if they help. If things don’t clear up, or if your urine becomes VERY dark, see a doctor immediately.

i wanna lose it in 3-4 months
my dad lives in florida, now every 3 months,i am going down with him,for a week:)
but, he lives next to the beach
and i will then be 12 years old, and i wanna wear a cute 2-piece bathing suit, and look cute,thin,petite,athletic,a tiny bit muscular,and thin in it:_)

i need a everyday diet,and excersize plan

Okay, firstly – you are 11 years old, you are a perfectly normal and healthy weight. You should NOT be dieting.

Secondly, even for a grown woman of 5ft, 85lbs is not a healthy weight. It is underweight.

My advice to you is to eat sensibly. You should not be worrying about your weight – it is totally normal. Being underweight can be dangerous, and I’m sure your Dad would rather see you happy and healthy than dangerously thin.

I can’t believe some morons here are trying to tell you how yo lose weight. It’s ridiculous. You can still wear a 2 piece, but you should not be dieting.

Be smart, kid.
