Just looking to do a consensus as I’m planning to do a colon cleanse soon. Colon Blow (lol) sounds pretty good, but does it live up to the hype?

Which diet should I opt for effective colon cleansing?

A liquid diet is good for you entire system every once and a while it is good for the body to cleanse itself…..
Hot lemonade cleanse is great! Here’s the recipe:

Ok so im doing the colon cleansing diet/ fasting. Im just starting so of course im gona feel a little full for a day or 2 but is there any way that i can feel full without eating a single thing. Would drinking a bottle of water with those crystal light powders in it be too sugary for my stomach and the fast will be worthless? Any thing you know about this, please tell

If you are fasting, ignore the other 2 posts. Fruit juice IS food and Flax is food as well (although the flax is a good way to "clean house") I have found that soda waters keep me quite full (e.g. canada dry makes some flavored ones and Lacroix makes them as well) They are usually by the bottled water/vitamin waters in the grocery store and are nothing but flavor and fizzy water. Crystal light is pretty much just chemicals and would prob be a very bad idea on an empty stomach.

I’m thinking about doing a colon cleanse, but was wondering how similar the effects are to the prepping you have to do for a colonoscopy. I had that test not too long ago, so wondered if it would even be worth my while doing the cleanse?

Yes- prepping for a colonoscopy is cleaning out your colon for a reason.

"Colon cleanse" quackery is cleaning out your colon for no good reason at all. Unless you LIKE diarrhea and hemorrhoids and a sore bottom.

I was concidering using one to flush out my system real good and possibly drop a few pounds. Does anyone know of a good, safe, inexpencive colon cleanser? I take some perscription medicines and I was also concerned about the flush washing my meds out of my system.

You know they might not be the cheapest, but I think they are the best. I would save your money and go with them. If you buy a couple months cleansing packages, you will also get a break on the price.

So find someone and share the price with them to save money. I bought 3 months worth of the cleansing program, as I new I really needed it. The cheaper price for buying in bulk was also an incentive.

My question: has anyone tried it? And can you still go to work while doing it? Do you feel sick?

If you want to ‘cleanse’ your system . . which is a scam, by the way, its not necessary . . but if you really want to clean out than just go to the store and buy a laxative. It’s cheaper and works just as well.

If you have ever had a colonoscopy you will know that the ‘colon cleansing’ is a scam . . because for a colonoscopy you need to first cleanse the colon so that a gastroentrologist can examine the entire length of your colon with a camera. So, a laxative will work just as well to cleanse you out. Never spend money for something so easily to achieve naturally.

I want to know about Advanced Acia berry Ultimafte Colon Cleanser, Bromolite, and Acia Berry Detox products. Please do not respond if you have a commercial engagement with these products. I have heard recently that Acia Berry is not safe.

Colon cleansing is only necessary when you get "backed up". "Real Life" is only half right. Colon cleansing HAS saved lives. If you have many pounds of fecal matter backed up, you are going to be fat and sluggish at best if not sick. Overgrowth of bad bacteria is a given in that situation. So naturally maintaining a clean colon by eating a lot of fiber is ideal, but if you get backed up too much I recommend NONI. It’s a stool softener. Otherwise the acai berry products are just "crap". Acai berry is often poorly grown and processed too. You need to make sure you don’t overdo it with harsh cleansers.
Unless you’re really constipated, I would just recommend some good bacteria (probiotics) to maintain health gut ecology. Also, eating a bunch of seaweed and salads will clean you out really good for much cheaper.

I have heard a person can be carrying around 20lbs of unnecessary weight and that it can be eliminated by a colon cleansing. Is it the same thing as an enema?
i don’t mean to lose body fat, I mean it is just crap you don’t need. I was refering to weight as a way to measure the extra crap.

Hi Clueless, an enema cleans out the rectal area where as a colonic irrigation flushes out the entire colon. Either one is healthy, but should never be used for weight control.
